All-Russian Forum of Arbitration and Business Communities

All-Russian Forum of arbitration and business communities “Improvement of legislation on domestic and international arbitration: contemporary standards and approaches of the leading arbitration centers” was held in St Petersbourg in the Presidential Library named after B.N.Eltsin on July 4 and 5, 2013. Forum was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Russian Law “On International Commercial Arbitration”, 10th anniversary of the Federal Law “On arbitration courts in the Russian Federation”. Forum was organized by the journal “Arbitration” (Tretejskyi sud), St. Petersbourg State University, Supreme Commercial (Arbitrazh) Court of Russia, Сhamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Russian center of promotion of arbitration proceedings and other organizations and institutions interested in the promotion of arbitration. Conciliation Room is opened at the Moscow Commercial (Arbitrazh) Court
On July 15, 2013 Conciliation room was formally opened in the premises of the Commercial (Arbitrazh) Court of Moscow. The purpose of this room is to provide additional chances to amicably settle their case to the parties in dispute, to render more popular amicable methods of settlement of business conflicts. The conciliation room is opened within the framework of the Cooperation agreement between the State Commercial (Arbitrazh) Court of Moscow and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. SOMEDIARS participates in this joint project, and this activities are in line with its mission: the first event held by SOMEDIARS was a seminar on mediation and ADR for judges. Starting July 19, 2013 the specialists of the Center included on the list of mediators of the Panel of Mediators at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ekaterina Smolyannikova and Natalia Gaidaenko Schaer provide pro bono consulting services.
